My try at Steampunk and Halloween fun!

I'm really digging the look of steampunk jewelry!  And I was lucky enough to jump into a swap as an angel, and finally had my chance to give it a whirl.  Well, all my colored resin pieces where a flop.  And my orginal version of this charm was also a disaster.  And finally I got it together, and came up with these.

I kinda wish I would I have punked them a little more.  But hopefully after the swap, I'll have a better idea of what and where I'm going with these.

And here are my Halloween Recipes.  I think they turned out cute.

1 fish, 2 fish...

Red fish, blue fish.

Here is my recipe page for the Dr. Seuss swap on Two Peas.

I really had to step out of the box for this one.  So I ended up doing a play on the book cover, but spiced it up a little.  I found a pic of the fish and colored them with copics.  Then sealed the squares with Glossy Accents so there was some depth.  As a background I used a Hero Arts dots stamp, with Jenny Bowlin Chicken Feed ink.  For the water I used crape paper and ruffled it, then used 2 different stitches along the bottom.
